Alignments for your characters

Alignments are the basic characteristics of your personality, and rather a board to pin a character's behavier and traits on.

There are 9 basic catagories with a couple sub catagories for those out of place people.

True Neutral
This kind of character is able to do what ever they want without ties to being bad or good, in a sense they are on the boarder of it all. best example, Sasuke Uchiha.(before shippuden)


Neutral Good
This kind of character is a good guy who does what he wants and isn't tied to following laws, but also not the kind of person to break laws. Best example, Pokemon, because it's not like they can control who trains them and they often turn to their trainer's alingment upon being caught.

Neutral Evil
This kind of character is evil and goes about fullfilling his own goals in anyway he wants, weather to destroy society or to shape it in his wn image along the way. It's dificult to play an evil character in Neutral Evil without siding to lawful or chaotic on accident. Best example, Sephiroth. (he played people into thinking he was a good guy, then murdered several, then turned himself into a divin being and in the process would have killed everyone.)

Lawful Good
These people are honor bound and will do everything by the code of civilization. They never break laws and always consider them to be flawless. Best example, Rukia Kuchiki. (note that she broke a law, but was willing to take the conciquences)

Lawful Neutral
This kind of character is bound to his own code of conduct and will not break that code. He isn't bound to being goodd or bad in a sense, but sometimes he can be one of the harder alingments; the personal code my put you in a position where you and an ally disagree on weather to finish off the bad guy or to put him in prison. Best example, Byakuya Kuchiki.

Lawful Evil
This are the powerful bad guys who manipulat the system in their benifit. They use other people to kill and destroy while making themselves look good in the process. When working with this kind of character, it can be tough to avoid being controlled by them; you may work with them, but it could turn into you working for them. Best example Aizen Sosuke.

Chaotic Good
This kind of person is a go getter and will do what he wants when he wants, he often sees the laws as ristrictions, and not see a point to them, but will normally have verture to destroy evil. Best example, Naruto.

Choatic neutral
This kind of person doesn't care about laws and about people in general, in fact if they get in the way the character may leave them alone. It is very easy for a chaotic neutral character to turn to another alingment. Often a chaotic neutral is in it for himself, but can be in a groupe with others. Best example, Kenpachi from bleach.

Choatic Evil
This villan is the worst; they kill for pleasure and do what they want often killing many people in the process. They normally don't work with others and have a short line of self control for violence. You don't need to be a lunatic, but often you appear like one. Best example, the Joker.

Lawful Stupid:
You know you're lawful stupid when your open personal code contradicts actions you just made. Best Example, Byakuya Kuchiki; adopted Rukia without hesitation to his wife's death wish, but when she broke the law, he was willing to kill her for the sake of keeping a promise to his parents.
